Finding fresh and effective marketing ideas is a difficult, yet worthy, fete. In fact, it can take hours to sort through blog posts and online FAQs to find new ideas to promote your online business. In an effort to make this a little easier, I present to you a list of the top 10 online marketing ideas I’ve discovered in my research. Additionally, it would be awesome to hear your ideas. Feel free to share what online marketing ideas work well for you in the comments section.

Top 10 Online Marketing Ideas

Create Content

Marketing is all about keeping it fresh and interesting, right? The more original content you have, the more people you’ll attract to your website.

Recycle and Reuse

I know I just said to keep it fresh, but that can still happen with refreshed content. Sometimes it takes more than one piece of content to get a point across. Feel free to present the same important ideas in a refreshed format.

Share an eBook

I can’t tell you how much I have learned from other marketers’ eBooks. Offering some free information can spark repeat website visitors.

Get Involved

Don’t underestimate the power of investing in local activities, especially if you are a local business. Consider getting your name out there by sponsoring a local team or club.

Reward Customers

If you have a bunch of loyal customers, consider rewarding them and making that reward a big, public deal. Everyone loves recognition and it can blossom into great word-of-mouth advertising.

Use Social Media

Social media can be the one of the main keys to successful marketing. Get on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, and any other popular social media site and start making friends.

 Launch a Blog

Blogs are playing a huge role in search engine marketing these days. Not only do they provide interesting information, but they give Google bunches of fresh content to sort through, and Google loves that.

Survey Clients

Sometimes your customers will have innovative ideas they are willing to share. If you’re struggling to know how to effectively reach your customer base, ask them for their ideas.

Ask for Reviews

Online reviews are also playing a huge role on how you rank on Google. If your customers love you, ask them to spread the love online with a positive Google review.

Invest in Your Website

Your website is often the first interaction a client may have with your company. As such, it’s important to make sure your website is intuitive and good looking.
