With image marketing at the top of the digital marketing game these days, it is important to be aware of exactly what each top image marketing business has to offer. Companies like Twitter and Instagram have been dominating the visual marketing world for a while, but Yahoo! recently made some updates to their mobile Flickr app that certainly gives both Twitter and Instagram a run for their money. Here are just a few things Flickr is doing that will hopefully convince you to include Flickr in your small business Internet marketing strategy.

Filters

You know those awesome effects you can add to pictures with a simple click of a button? Flickr actually has more filters than Instagram, giving you multiple options to make your photos look professional.

Geotagging

Flickr allows you to add a location to your photo, so anyone searching within your area can easily find your photos.

Social Sharing

You can easily share your photos from Flickr on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Group Sharing

With Flickr, not only can you share with your social communities, but you can also join groups of people with similar interests. This is a great way to reach your target audience.

Photo Stats

Interested to know how many times your photo has been viewed? With Flickr’s new update, tracking photo data is as easy as pie.

While Instagram and Twitter are great networks for digital image marketing, don’t be too hasty when it comes to thinking about not using Flickr. Flickr isn’t just keeping up in the game; it’s passing up other image marketing companies in many ways.
