One of the best ways to promote your website is through Pinterest. In fact, Pinterest is driving more referral traffic than Google Plus, YouTube, and LinkedIn combined. Pinterest is the perfect way to show off your products, share interesting and related content, and a great way to build your brand.

Up until last month, Pinterest was exclusive to individuals, but on Nov. 13, 2012, Pinterest announced they would be extending Pinterest account services to businesses.

In order to convert your account to a business account, you simply need to follow a few easy steps.

Step 1: Visit business.pinterest.com and click on “convert your existing account.” You may need to login to your current account in order to get the right page. If your password is saved on your computer, Pinterest will automatically redirect you to the right page.

Step 2: Select “business type” and update your information.

Step 3: Update your profile information as necessary.

Step 4: Read and accept the terms.

Step 5: Click on “Convert Account.”

As soon as you have completed these 5 easy steps, you will be able to confirm your new information, verify your website, and start sharing your boards as a business.
